Why This Site?

I have created this site with one, and only one, purpose in mind. That is to help tourists who want help in preparation for visiting Grand Bahama Island. You will find links here to hundreds of photos, videos, trip reports, a newsgroup/forum where you can ask questions, hotel/resort links, tourism activity links and more. All are devoted exclusively to Grand Bahama Island. There is no money to be made from this site. It exists as a place where people can go for help or information. Please feel free to take advantage of more than 20 years of my traveling to the island, and, hopefully, the knowledge and experience of others who choose to participate in helping.

The newsgroup also contains a forum devoted to trip reports, so if you have something to say about a visit please post your report there.

The video includes photos from years ago for nostalgic visitors who would like to see those things from the past that are now gone. Approximately two thirds of the video is devoted to current places and things on the island, covering most of the items of interest to tourists. Make sure you have some time. The video runs a little more than 30 minutes.
